WARRANTY INFORMATION

At LCS Motors, we believe in transparency and honesty when it comes to our warranty options. That's why we break down our warranty packages into simple terms, so you know exactly what you're getting with your purchase.

 

In addition to our strict inspection procedure, we offer a 28-day warranty as standard which covers faults with the engine and gearbox. We understand that some of our customers may want additional peace of mind when it comes their vehicle's warranty which is why we offer upgradeable warranty options for up to 36 months through our trusted providers, Warranty First. Each warranty offers a different level of cover, and prices can fluctuate from vehicle to vehicle. We appreciate extended warranties will increase the cost of your final purchase which is why we offer the ability to spread the cost of your warranty, interest free with our monthly payment plans. 


After well over a year of stress-free motoring, we hope that even the most cautious of buyers will have built up a great level of trust in our vehicles. WHAT'S NOT COVERED?

Continuing with our belief that honesty is the best policy we think that it's just as important for our customers to understand what is NOT covered by our warranty as well as what is. Below is a list of what our 28 day, in house warranty WILL NOT cover.

  1. Normal Wear and Tear: Components that naturally degrade over time, such as bushes, brake pads, tyres, springs and wiper blades, are not covered.

  2. Regular Maintenance: Routine services like oil changes, filter replacements, and tyre changes are not included.

  3. Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, paint chips, and upholstery wear are not covered.

  4. Accident or Collision Damage: Damage from accidents or collisions is not covered.

  5. Misuse or Neglect: Problems resulting from neglect, misuse, improper maintenance, or modifications (like performance enhancements) are excluded.

  6. Damage from Improper Repairs: Issues arising from incorrect repairs or those done by unauthorised garages are not included.

  7. Non-mechanical Issues: Problems with non-mechanical parts, like the bodywork or paint, are not covered.

  8. Consumable Items: Items that are consumed through use, like brake pads, wiper blades, and fuses, are generally excluded.

  9. Electrical components:  Problems with electrical items such as stereo's, wiring, alternators and ECU's are not covered

Although our in house warranty will not cover any of the items listed above, our extended warranties may do. Please check with us or the warranty provider to see exactly what is and isn't covered by them. Please contact us if you are confused or have any questions regarding our warranties.

Trade sales & p/x to clear?

Within our dealership, we strive to provide warranties with every vehicle we sell. However, there are times when it's not possible. Vehicles listed as P/X to clear, spares and repairs or trade sales will be sold with no warranty given or implied, nor will they undergo a pre-sales inspection unless otherwise stated.

 

Although these vehicles are sold in the condition which they arrived in and are heavily discounted for this reason, this shouldn't be a deterrent for potential buyers. Our trade sales can offer the perfect opportunity to grab a bargain on a wide range of stock. This can be a chance for buyers to purchase the vehicle for them at a fraction of the price. We always do our best to advise buyers of potential faults on these vehicles, but we strongly advise and welcome any inspections or test drives. All sales of these vehicles will be final and classed as 'sold as seen'.

Any vehicle sold for under £1,500 will be sold as seen with no warranty provided. Buyers acknowledge that they accept the vehicle in its current condition at the time of purchase and no claims will be entertained post-sale. We highly encourage inspections and test drives to ensure you are satisfied with the condition of the vehicle before purchase.

Any vehicle subject to these conditions will be advertised accordingly.
